Help is on its way! Most patients notice right away that everything you experience in this office is purposely and consciously developed to ensure that your chiropractic experience is wonderful and enriching. When you enter Kitsilano Chiropractic you will be greeted with a smile and we get started right away with any paperwork that needs to be done. We are at ground level , so you will be able to find us easily and find street parking fairly convenient. Plan for 45 – 60 minutes for your First Visit so that we can gather all the information necessary to get you started.

The Consultation

Your visit begins with a consultation with Dr. Little. The purpose of our initial consultation is so that we can get to know each other and determine if we can help. During a brief conversation and review of your health history, we will determine if you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care. We’ll ask a few questions and listen to what you need to tell us.

A Partnership

The consultation also gives you an opportunity to meet with Dr. Little and learn a bit more about chiropractic. Since ours is a partnership approach to better health, it’s important that you’re comfortable with the personalities, procedures and policies of our office. The consultation is a great way to find that out.

The Next Step

If we don’t think we can help, we’ll tell you. If we think we can help, and you agree, we can usually proceed to the next step, which is a thorough chiropractic assessment.

Our patients appreciate the fact that we attempt to communicate everything clearly and have your agreement in advance!

The Chiropractic Assessment

Our thorough assessment might be very different than some other health practitioners you have visited. Our goal is to determine what areas of your spine and nervous system are involved and related to your health challenges. We achieve this by using a state of the art computerized nervous system scan, a postural assessment, some neurological tests, range of motion evaluations, leg length analysis ,motion/static palpation and possibly radiographic evaluation which is all done on site. Our xray examination is done with a high frequency generator which reduces exposure significantly and we will take only the views necessary for a proper and complete evaluation of your spinal health and structure. After your consultation and assessment, you will return to the front desk to schedule your Second Visit to go over your Report of Findings and Recommendations and to answer any questions you may have.

Dr. Donna Asks some important questions of interest to Vancouver residents - Chiropractor Vancouver Dr. Donna Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
