Regular Visits at Kitsilano Chiropractic

Avoid relapse with regular chiropractic care.

On your third visit, we will confirm everything regarding your schedule and going over how to make your regular visits with us as enjoyable and time efficient as possible. We encourage you to inform and empower yourself as you journey with us!

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

In a word: no. A typical office visit may require just five to 10 minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Progress Assessments

Progress assessments help Dr. Little determine you care.

Progress assessments help Dr. Little determine you care.

Everyone responds to chiropractic care differently. Periodically throughout your care, we perform Progress Assessments to measure your changes and determine how best to proceed with your care. This is a time for us to give you feedback on your progress and for you to share feedback about the changes in your health you’ve experienced and the different lifestyle choices you have been making to help you get better results.

On the visit following the Progress Assessment, Dr. Little will go over the results with you and make further appropriate recommendations for your care. With the momentum established from the intensive schedule during the early part of your care, we can often reduce your visit frequency without sacrificing continued progress.

The Danger

About this time, many people start to feel significantly better. They’re often tempted to discontinue their care. And of course, how long you benefit from chiropractic is always up to you. Please note that you are more likely to experience a symptomatic relapse if you discontinue care before we have stabilized your spine and nervous system. This is part of the retraining process to create a stronger, more adaptable body! This strengthening is in the second stage of care, after symptoms disappear. Just like exercise, the more you do it, the stronger you get!

Just let us know so we can support your decision.
